Just spent 4 days diving around Moalboal, enjoying huge coral walls, and lots of massive sea turtles. Poor visibility, but an amazing first few days in the Philippines nonetheless
There’s no better place to find yourself than sitting by a waterfall and listening to its music””
4 flights, 20 power naps, and 72hrs of travel later, we have finally arrived to our first stop in the Philippines 🤙🏽
Day 119 - Our last day in South America! We watched the sunrise on Ipanema beach, went for a run down Copacabana, and had our last big bowl of Açai. Currently getting ready for our overnight flight to New York✌🏼
Highlight 3 - The Amazon. The weather was too hot for words, and the bugs were large and numerous, but this was the most peaceful week of our trip so far. This is a blue and gold macaw, often captured to be sold as pets. He was rescued and brought back into the jungle and is currently living around camp until his clipped wings can regrow, about 6-12 months. We watched him actually open the cookhouse door prior to sneaking in quite a few bites of food from the pantry, they’re so incredibly smart and endlessly entertaining to watch.
SWIPE LEFT - Highlight 2 - Inca Trail to Machu Picchu. I think we took this experience for granted. Not only is it a huge bucket list item for thousands of people around the world, but we were lucky enough to be the only two people in our group. We got to hike at the pace we wanted, spend all the time at the Incan sites as we wanted, and got extra large portions of food at camp. Just unreal
